Our hometown Koprivnica (”Nettletown”) is known for high-quality nettle that grows in this area. These are naturally harvested nettle leaves, dried and separated from the stalk. Nettle has many therapeutic properties.<\/p>\n

This plant is known, to have a broad spectrum of activity (above all other herbs). It is good for regulating and reducing problems caused by frequent urination. It stimulates the kidneys, purifies the blood, strengthens the immune system, reduces allergic reactions, improves digestion, and has a soothing effect.<\/p>\n

Nettle is rich in vitamin C, B, K (dependent on habitat), various minerals such as Iron (Fe), Magnesium (Mg), Phosphorus (P) and Manganese (Mn). It also contains a lot of plant enzymes, phytosterols and other elements known to the modern pharmaceutical industry and food industry.<\/p>\n

Today we prepare nettle in various ways. Nettle can be prepared as an herbal tea (hot or cold), and you can make syrups and juices from it. You can eat it, too (soup, salad, sauce, in cakes). Also, you can find it in cosmetics (hair, skin and nail products) and in pharmaceutical drugs.<\/h2><\/span>
