Gih-tko

This tea blend is recommended for problems with uric acid in the blood (gout).

More and more people are studying and seeking for some herbal remedies to alleviate the problems and the pain caused by some types of arthritis. Today’s knowledge and technology came to the conclusion that the correct proportions and dosage of plants such as willow bark, field horsetail, and corn silk can regulate and reduce the deposition of uric acid crystals in the joints.

This herbal combination regulates uric acid and reduces the pain. We recommend drinking this tea blend primarily when there is swelling and pain in the joints. This tea has a bitter taste, but quickly relieves symptoms caused by gout. Because of the herbs that have a beneficial effect, it can be drunk up to one liter. Herbal tea Gih-tko has a better effect when it is combined with a proper diet that a doctor or a pharmacist prescribed.

How to prepare tea?

Put the kettle on the stove (or plug in the electric kettle) and bring the water to boil. When the water comes to a rolling boil add 1 tablespoon (big spoon – tbsp) of herbal tea. Steep for at least 20-25 minutes. Then, pour the hot tea through the strainer into a cup. Sweeten to taste. Sugar, honey or lemon are good choices. However, some herbal teas are naturally sweet so you should taste each tea by itself first before deciding if sugar, honey or lemon are needed.
